LAHORE – On Tuesday, Governor of Punjab Chaudhry Mohammad Sarwar stated that he was proud to serve the Sikh community in the province because of the close relationship he had formed with Sikhs around the world.

Sarwar stated that the administration of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) was dedicated to protecting Sikh heritage and sacred places and that the building of the Kartarpur Corridor was evidence of Sikh and Muslim friendship.
He stated that Prime Minister Imran Khan’s goal was to create a Pakistan in line with the wishes of the Father of the Nation Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah, who fought for the rights of Pakistan’s minorities.

To paraphrase what he said: “Pakistan is a haven to the Sikhs, and they acknowledged our hospitality everywhere in the world.”
Punjabi Sikh Sangat Chairman Gopal Singh Chawla, who spoke at the event, said that many Sikh heroes were Muslims.
He remarked, “I am proud to be a Pakistani, and the beautiful picture of Pakistan does not complete without the presence of the Sikhs,” adding that Sikhs and Muslims have coexisted peacefully before the partition of Bharat in 1947.
He spoke highly of Governor Punjab, whom he described as a benefactor to Sikhs in Pakistan and an outstanding proponent of Sikh-Muslim relations.
Legislative Bureaucracy in Punjab According to Mahinder Pal Singh, minorities in Pakistan enjoy unprecedented respect, and the Indian government just cannot wrap its head around one small example of this, the Kartarpur Corridor.

On the occasion, Canadian Sikh girl Manjeet Kaur, commonly known as Meera G, delivered a Naat-e-Rasool-e-Maqbool Hazrat Muhammad (PBUH).
