Pakistan: According to a news source on September 28, the government has revealed plans to establish an official “tourism app” as part of a concerted effort to promote travel and enable many types of travel, including cultural, social, medical, and historical travel.
According to the information provided, Wasi Shah, the Special Assistant to the Prime Minister (SAPM) for Tourism, made the announcement on World Tourism Day while visiting Julian and the Taxila Museum. He revealed plans to use public-private partnerships to advance eco-tourism, with an emphasis on areas having an abundance of tourist attractions. He added that visitors to Pakistan would soon have access to an official application that would give them official information and access to the state tourism department.
For Android users, this app will be available on the Google Play Store and will include extensive details about tourist attractions, modes of transportation, and other services. He acknowledged the critical role that tourism plays in global development while highlighting the historical relevance and emphasizing the role that tourism plays in promoting social, cultural, economic, and environmental values.
