ISLAMABAD: On Sunday, Indonesian Ambassador Adam M. Tugio stated that Murree’s natural beauty could rival any well-known tourist destination, making it one of the world’s most beautiful locations.
According to him, the hill station and Bali, Indonesia, may be referred to as sister towns, and the two governments ought to start corresponding to encourage travel to both destinations.
Speaking to reporters and the Murree business community, Mr. Tugio stated that there are historical, religious, and cultural ties between Pakistan and Indonesia.
According to him, Pakistan and Indonesia have been allies since Indonesia’s early years of independence, as evidenced by the 600 Pakistani troops who took part in the country’s freedom struggle some of them even giving their lives for it.
Mr. Tugio claimed that the resemblances between the Jinnah and Sukarno caps demonstrated the personal affinity between Quaid-i-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah, the founder of Pakistan, and Sukarno, the founder of Indonesia.
He said that Allama Iqbal was similarly well-liked in Indonesia and that his poetry influenced numerous movements there.
According to the ambassador, Indonesia announces scholarships for students each year, and this year will be no different.
