GURDWARA JANAM ASTHAN

The first of the ten Sikh Gurus and the founder of Sikhism, Baba Guru Nanak Dev Jee (1469–1539), was born in the Talwandi village. The current Nankana, Rai-bhoe Sayyid. His birth is joyous. GURDWARA DERA SAHIB JEE 

Sikh temple Gurdwara Dera Sahib Jee is situated outside of Lahore’s Walled City and is a part of a group of monuments that also includes the Lahore Fort, the Samadhi of Ranji t Singh, the Hazuri Bagh quadrangle, Roshnai Gate, and the B a d s h a h i M o s q u e w h i c h commemorates the site of the death of Arjan Dev, the fifth Guru of Sikhism, in 1606.

GURDWARA JANAM ASTHAN GURU RAM DAS JEE

In Lahore, Pakistan, there is a Gurdwara called Janam Asthan Guru Ram Das Jee. The fourth Sikh Guru, Guru Ram Das, is said to have been born and raised in this location; the gurdwara was constructed on top of this traditional belief. The Begum Shahi Mosque and Lahore Fort are both close to the gurdwara, which is situated in the Chuna mandi bazaar of the Walled City of Lahore.

GURDWARA DARBAR SAHIB JEE

Located in Kartarpur, Narowal District, Gurdwara Darbar Sahib Jee Kartarpur is also known as Kartarpur Sahib Jee. It is situated on the historical site where, following his missionary travels, Guru Nanak Jee settled and organized the Sikh commune.

The current gurdwara was constructed on the spot where Guru Nanak passed away on September 22, 1539.

GURDWARA RORI SAHIB JEE

The Gurdwara Rori Sahib Jee is located in Eminabad, an ancient town 55 kilometers to the north of Lahore. Gurdwara Rorie Shahib Jee, Gurdwara Chakki Sahib Jee, and Gurdwara Khuhi Bhai Lalo Jee are three significant historical Sikh shrines located in this area. The holy shrine known as Gurdwara Rori Shahib Jee is the location where, legend has it, Guru Nanak stayed with Bhai Lalo following the town’s destruction. The Guru was forced to sit on a hard bed of pebbles in this location. On the same spot, the gurdwara is now located.

GURDWARA CHAKKI SAHIB JEE

The location of Gurdwara Chakki Sahib Jee in Eminabad is where a sizable millstone chakkis was kept. It is mentioned in the Janamsakhis that thousands of his fellow countrymen were taken as prisoners along with Nanak Dev. Baba Jee and numerous other detainees were made to grind corn using manually operated millstones. His captors were shocked to see that while Guru Nanak was singing songs to the glory of one God, the millstone he was using was turning on its own.

GURDWARA SACHA SAUDA

The location of Gudwara Sacha Sauda is in Sheikhupura, Punjab’s Farooqabad. When Guru Nanak was a young man, his father Mehta Kalu sent him to learn about business.

The young Nanank encountered some starving and foodless sadhus on the way to his destination. The future guru made the decision to feed the sadhus with a langar, or meal, using the twenty rupees that his father had given him. Mehta Kalu was furious when she went home empty-handed. 

However, young Nanak gave his father an explanation, and the father saw that he had done a great job of feeding the starving sadhus and making the maximum profit possible with the money. 

Built by Mahraja Ranjeet Singh in the style of a fortress, the magnificent and exquisite gurdwara is located on the spot where Guru Nanak Dev Jee fed the sadhus.

TILLA JOGIAN

The Eastern Salt Range’s highest peak is Tilla Jogian. Situated at an elevation of 975 meters (3200 feet) above sea level, it is roughly 25 km west of Jhelum City and 10 km west of Khukha, the model village. 

The view is very satisfying when you reach the summit of Tilla. Dina, a town on the Grand Trunk Road that is growing quickly, is located about 7 km east of Tilla Jogian and is home to Rohtas Fort. It was created in the first century BCE by the Guru Goraknath, who also founded the Kanphatta (jogis with pierced ears) sect. It existed for a full two millennia before being abandoned in 1947 as a result of the largest transmigration in human history.

Due to its connection to Baba Guru Nanak, the founder of the Sikh religion, who spent 40 days in meditation there in the early 1500s, the location is also significant in Sikhism. Afterwards, Maharaja Ranjit Singh built a small monument to mark the precise location where Baba Guru Nanak is rumored to have often meditated in addition to building a stone-lined pond to honor Guru Nanak Dev Jee’s visit. 

GURDWARA SRI CHOWA SAHIB JEE

The Gurdwara Chowa Sahib Jee, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, is close to Rohtas Fort. The holy site of Gurdwara Sri Chowa Sahib Jee is displaying its beauty outside the Rohtas Fort’s Kabuli Darwaza (gate). From Tilla Jogian, Jagat Guru Nanak Sahib Jee came to this place. It was a barren area at the time. With the help of his stick, Guru Nanak Jee created a water spring.

This location was given the name Chowa Sahib because of a spring of water by the same name. Subsequently, Sher Shah constructed an amazing fort, with the Gurdwara serving as the exterior Kabuli gate.

Maharaja Ranjit Singh ordered the construction of the current structure in 1834. 

With Ghan Nadi, a fort, big trees, and underbrush all around, the Gurdwara offers breathtaking views of the surrounding landscape.

GURDWARA PANJA SAHIB JEE

Khaldwara Famous gurdwara Panja Sahib Jee is situated close to Islamabad, Hasan Abdal.The handprint of Guru Nanak, the founder of Sikhism, is thought to be engraved on a boulder at the gurdawara, making the shrine especially significant.

The most renowned general of the Sikh Kingdom, Hari Singh Nalwa, gave this hallowed location the name Panja Sahib Jee. It is said that he constructed the first gurdwara here.
