Deputy Mayor Salman Murad and Mayor Karachi Murtaza Wahab personally rode the thrilling new zipline at Safari Park on Sunday, marking the official opening of the city.
At the inauguration, Mayor Karachi stated that he thought the zipline would be a particular draw for Karachi locals.
Even while he admitted that budgetary limitations were causing delays in several projects, he explained his plan to offer more green spaces to the city.
During the event, Deputy Mayor Karachi outlined ongoing development projects in Karachi’s seven districts. Additionally, he declared that horseback riding would soon be available at Dino Safari Park.
When Mayor Karachi opened Safari Park’s freshly constructed dinosaur park in August of this year, the zip line proposal was brought up. He announced that the park’s zip line project would shortly be operating.
Notably, the Karachi Metropolitan Corporation (KMC) declared last year that it would build a zipline at Bagh Ibne Qasim, which is close to the coast in Clifton. The statement was made by Murtaza Wahab, the current mayor of Karachi, who was the city administrator at the time. At Bagh Ibne Qasim, the zipline still needs to be installed.
