Islamabad: As many local tourists traveled from all across the nation to attend this incredible mega-event in the nation’s capital, the National Folk Festival (Lok Mela) contributed to the growth of cultural tourism.
An official from Pakistan Tourism Development Corporation (PTDC) told this agency that Lok Mela, the nation’s largest folk festival, is still going on from November 3–12. He said that Lok Virsa’s National Heritage and Culture Division was in charge of organizing it.
According to him, the festival is drawing a lot of visitors by offering them traditional and cultural treats. It also offers a range of activities, including provincial pavilions, food vendors, traditional stall shopping, and musical performances that showcase the rich cultural diversity of the nation.
According to the official, the remarkable festival was drawing a large crowd of folk aficionados to the federal capital to take in the music, traditional dances, artwork, and handicrafts. “The cultural nights are also part of the unique folk mela that also entraining the tourists,” he stated.
