PESHAWAR: On Tuesday, at the World Travel Mart event in London, KP’s acting Minister of Tourism, Mian Feroze Jamal Shah Kakakhel, met with his counterpart from the United Kingdom, John Whittingdale, to discuss potential collaboration in the field of tourism promotion.
According to a press release, the conversation offered a chance for cooperation and idea sharing in the field of tourism promotion.
Conversations centered on a range of tourism-related topics, such as cross-cultural interaction, marketing travel destinations, and strengthening collaboration between KP and the UK to exchange educational opportunities. Kakakhel recommended that British visitors take in the area’s historical sites, stunning natural surroundings, and rich cultural legacy. He emphasized that in order to provide UK tourists with more seamless travel experiences, there must be mutual cooperation.
According to Kakakhel, the KP government was eager to absorb knowledge from the UK’s tourism promotion experiences. Minister John Whittingdale expressed gratitude for the chance to interact with the KP government and recognized the importance of building relationships within the travel and tourism industry.
Zeinab Badawi, a senior journalist for television and radio, praised Pakistan’s efforts at World Travel Mart to advance travel and cross-cultural exchange.She emphasized the role that the media plays in creating understanding and bridging divides.
According to Kakakhel, connections and cooperation with foreign media are crucial for showcasing the tourism potential of Pakistan’s stunning northwest province of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
