President Tourism for Interfaith Peace and Development and President Lakeshore Club, Syed Sadat Hussain Shah, has said that investing in youth is, in fact, investing in the future of the country, and empowering young people through culture is an urgent need of the time.
He stated that only through the promotion of culture and the involvement of youth in positive activities can a confident, capable, and responsible generation be nurtured.
He expressed these views while addressing the Sohni Sanjh event, organized by Growing Women in collaboration with the Students Council and YES Pakistan.
He added that cultural activities play a vital role in promoting self-confidence, leadership, and social awareness among youth. Youth are a valuable asset of any nation, and when they are connected with their culture, traditions, and values, they can play an effective role not only in social development but also in the country’s economic progress.
