KARACHI: Arshad Wali Muhammad, the caretaker provincial minister for tourism and the environment, has stated that the Sindh government is working to promote the province’s tourist attractions internationally at the World Travel Market in London.
In a discussion with a delegation of media, he stated that tourist destinations featuring picturesque landscapes will be part of global travel. According to him, the tourism sector is making significant investments in the global travel market, and the government of Sindh is working hard to guarantee that Sindh may have its rightful place in it.
He said that in order to promote the trend of domestic and international tourism in Sindh in a way that is focused on the market and creates an environment that is favourable for foreign investment, we are developing an integrated strategy for aviation companies, the hotel management sector, and guides.
The provincial minister went on to say that the natural lakes and the variation in temperature at the highest point in Sindh, the Gorakh Hills, are tourist attractions. The tourism department is currently developing proposals for the hotel industry’s promotion, and these will be finalised very soon.
